Our Team

Team ALARIS is a network of UAS industry professionals that can support the most difficult integration project for both small and large unmanned systems. Our team is actively engaged in shaping the UAS industry (one of our team members co-leads a workgroup on FAA Subcommittee SC-228 in the creation of Minimum Operation Performance Standards (MOPS) for UAS Detect and Avoid (DAA)). Our knowledge of airspace integration challenges, both domestic and internationally, has enabled us to work closely with the FAA in expanding the typical COA boundaries to provide the best value for our customers.


Tony “Pooch” Pucciarella

Tony “Pooch” Pucciarella photoA retired Commander and Navy Pilot, Tony's background in manned and unmanned aviation, engineering, aircraft systems integration, operational test, and business strategy has created a unique skill set that answers unmet needs in the unmanned systems industry.

Tony Graduated from the Ohio State University with a BS in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, and received his MBA from Loyola’s Executive Program. Additionally, he is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with extensive experience in managing complex projects both large and small. Tony has been active in the military and general aviation industry for over 25 years. He served as the Airspace Integration Certification Lead for the Navy’s Triton UAS program and lead the development of the program’s safety case for Sense and Avoid (SAA). Tony remains in-tune with ongoing rulemaking for UAS and currently co-leads a workgroup supporting the larger Detect and Avoid (DAA) workgroup on FAA Special Committee 228 (SC-228).

Tony is certified as an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) and is rated in aircraft ranging from the iconic B-25 to the fastest business jets flying today. He is an active multi-rotor and fixed-wing UAS Pilot and builds small UAS as a hobby in his spare time to keep current with new technologies. From his days as Fleet Integration Lead and Chief Pilot for the Navy's C-37 (Gulfstream V) program, Tony realized he had a knack for systems integration and optimization. Relying on his engineering, Operational Test Pilot experience, and business background, he applies his skills to solving difficult integration issues in military unmanned systems and in the commercialization of UAS.


Michael Collins - UAS and Business Development Subject Matter Expert

Mike is an Acquisition Expert with broad experience in leading high performing teams through the entire project life cycle. With proven results in both government and private industry, Mike knows how to create and fulfill a full spectrum solution for strategy and requirements development, project leadership, program management, program certification, documentation and manuals creation, and project fulfillment.

As a retired officer and Navy Pilot, Mike has been a part of Naval Aviation for over twenty-five years. Beginning his career as a helicopter pilot, he has concentrated on unmanned aviation for the last ten years by supporting platforms such as the MQ-8B Fire Scout, MQ-4C Triton, and UCLASS. He is deeply entrenched in the issues of Detect and Avoid and the FAA Certification Process for UAS. For the past five years, Mike has mentored the next generation of UAS Innovators with his volunteer work as an AUVSI’s UAS Student Competition Judge.


Sean “Skipper” Moulton - UAS Subject Matter Expert

Sean has been uniquely involved with unmanned systems for over 12 years. Sean is a retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel with both manned (C-130, T-38, T-1) and unmanned (RQ-4 Global Hawk) pilot experience. He graduated from the Air Force Academy and is a USAF Weapons Officer Graduate. His experience includes multiple combat tours overseas and he served as a commander for Test & Evaluation. Sean has continued to lead in the unmanned community since his military retirement. He has specialized in ground station development, autonomous operations and airspace integration. His main focus is on supporting commercial development and employment of unmanned systems.

George “Ski” Zaniewski - Aviation Systems and Logistics Expert

Ski is a retired Air Force veteran having served 26 + years as a logistician, aircraft maintenance officer, program manager, requirements officer, and commander. He commanded three times at the squadron level and once at the group level.  His aircraft experience ranges from fighter to reconnaissance aircraft. Ski is an authority on maintenance, generation, and deployment and stood-up the F-22 Raptor in its first operational assignment at Tyndall AFB and then the F-22 program in its first combat wing at Langley AFB.  His AF career culminated in his assignment as the 1st Maintenance Group Commander. Upon retirement Ski became a defense contractor serving in the F-35 Joint Program Office, working with all phases of business development from capture to proposal management and assisted his company to revise their quality management system and processes. Ski is a 1986 graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, holds a MAS in Military Operational Art and Science and a MBA in Aviation.

Suzanne Pucciarella - Marketing and Communications

Suzanne manages the ALARIS marketing and communication effort. Her Master’s Degree in a clinical field, combined with her teaching background, has contributed to her unique ability to work well with teams and business leaders. Suzanne has extensive experience in marketing, sales, and social networking, and she also held the position of Vice President of Sales for an aviation magazine. She is well versed in the use of social media as an essential tool for networking and marketing. Suzanne enjoys spending her extra time with her family in Southern Maryland.

Mary Beth Frazza - Chief Technical Writer, Editor, and Desktop Publisher

Mary Beth has over 20 years of professional writing, editing, and desktop publishing/formatting experience. Mary Beth has a B.A. in English Writing and Communications and has honed and grown her skillset over many years of working on Congressional Reports, military programs, government proposals and contracts; and with dozens of commercial customers. Mary Beth is a true team player with exceptional client relationship skills. She works alongside Proposal Managers and their team members to assess their editing and formatting needs and provides quality, compliant documents. She maintains quality control and configuration management of files for multiple, complex projects simultaneously. Mary Beth is extremely flexible with changing deadlines and works well under pressure and within tight deadlines.
